The HP Software Universe registration team will do its best to honor your extension requests (any dates outside of Saturday, June 13, and Friday, June 19), pending availability. Prices for hotel extensions often fluctuate based on room availability. Should any nights become sold out, or should we become unable to honor the group rate, the HP Software Universe registration team will contact you via email.

Please note the following:

• The HP Software Universe group rate is subject to availability. Hotel rates for rooms may vary.
• Cancellations for rooms must be made at least three business days prior to your arrival day, or a penalty equivalent to one night's stay will be charged to your credit-card.
• A credit-card deposit is required to secure your room reservation.
  
• Rooms must be booked through the HP software Universe Registration website to receive the HP Software Universe special rate.

Cancellations must be made at least three (3) business days in advance of your scheduled arrival date, or your credit card will be charged an amount equal to one night’s room and tax. If you need to change your hotel arrival date, you must contact the HP Software Universe registration team at least three (3) business days in advance to your confirmed arrival date; otherwise you will be charged an amount equal to one night’s room and tax. Please do not contact the hotel directly to cancel or change your reservation. Contact the HP Software Universe registration team for cancellations and changes.

Ground transportation

There are many different transportation options in Las Vegas, including shuttle buses, taxis, and limousine services. If you would like to pre-arrange transportation to The Venetian, contact Concierge Services at 1-877-883-6423.

Taxi
Taxicabs are available outside on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1–5. Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers. The average cab fare to The Venetian from the airport is $20.00. There is a $1.20 charge on all fares originating at the airport. Taxi will not accept credit card payments.

Driving
If you are planning to rent a car, or are driving from home to HP Software Universe, parking is available at The Venetian at no cost.

Weather

Las Vegas has an arid climate with an average of 320 days of sunshine each year. Average high and low temperatures in June are a high of 100ºF (38ºC) and a low of 69ºF (21ºC), so we recommend that you pack accordingly. Please keep in mind that while the temperatures outside may be warm, the hotels are fully air-conditioned and may be cool at times.

Las Vegas is on Pacific Standard Time (PST). Therefore, when it is noon in Las Vegas, it is:
